Greetings in the Mighty Name of Jesus! So, today I will say that I am a new born in the Blog World. I spend hours upon hours gleaning from the Wisdom that my dad imparts on the phone. Good sound Biblical Wisdom. Things that I can just apply in life period. I thought hmmm, what better way than to place the things I learn from the Holy Ghost and my dad on a blog?
Early this morning around 2 am or so, I woke up and had a dire need to pray and hear God's Word. I immediately went to the computer to find an online bible in audio. Did you all know that you can listen to the bible Dramatized, O.k. maybe, you knew that, but I didn't.
I found myself listening to the Book of John. Jesus was giving the parable of the seed. As I was listening, I said Lord, reveal to me what type ground am I. Am I good ground, thistles, am I stony ground. What do I do with the Word when I receive it?
Like some of you, I have my challenges and I go back and forth with God asking questions. Why is this Lord? Why did this happen? What did they mean by that? I am really walking in purpose? Maybe you don't ask these question, but yes I do, sometimes more often than I want to admit.
He is so loving and kind. I was going through a bout of how I sow into the Kingdom. Oh Yes, pleading and praying to my Lord about how much I give, and blah blah, and why don't I see all of my harvest, and where is this and where is that? Only to have Him take me to Luke 18:29 "I tell you the truth," Jesus said to them, "no one who has left home or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting."
So, in other words, He was telling me. "You are telling me how you closed your business, I worked a pretty good job working from my home, and now you are working in ministry full time. You are not able to sow as much as you did in the past, and questioning Me on how and why? Well, He said, You will get it all back in above and beyond measure than what you have sown in this lifetime! As well as live an eternity in the Kingdom."
O.k. I admit He shut my mouth on it. Only to go to bed and wake up and listen to Christian television, and I promise lo and behold, every Pastor I listened to came out of Luke 18:29. I said o.k. Lord, I get the point stop complaining, am I sounding like Peter? I am so sorry.
Yes, I talk with my Father like this. I said, I got it Lord. I guess He wanted me to hear one more time, so while watching Pastor Bill Winston, what do I hear Luke 18:29-30...
He said you are in expectation, because you are a seed sower, and this is My promise to you. Seed time, harvest time, sowing and reaping? Did you forget?
How awesome is Our God! Well back to the Church Channel or many of the other Christian Channels I watch during the day. Hey, when you are in a faith fight, you must saturate yourself in the Word. Faith Comes by Hearing and Hearing by the Word of God!
